Electrochemical Evidence of Action of Iaa in Mnium
The effect of 5 -10~ 7 and 5 1 0 « M IAA on K+, Cl" and S 0 4 " " uptake by young and old Mnium gametophytes from 0.2 MM or 10 MM salt solutions has been investigated. These IAA concentrations selectively enhance K+ uptake from 0.2 MM KCl or K2S04 in old gametophytes. IAA up to 1 0 5 M does not affect the membrane potential (P.D.). At 0.2 MM KCl the observed P.D. of —200 to — 220 mV is more neg...
متن کاملLannotinidines H-J, new Lycopodium alkaloids from Lycopodium annotinum.
Three new Lycopodium alkaloids, lannotinidines H-J (1-3), were isolated from the club moss Lycopodium annotinum. The structures and relative stereochemistry of 1-3 were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data and the absolute stereochemistry of 2 was assigned by chemical correlation. Lannotinidine H (1) is the first Lycopodium alkaloid possessing a lycopodane skeleton with an additional C...
متن کاملV2O5 NanoElectrodes with High Power and Energy Densities for Thin Film LiIon Batteries
Nanostructured V 2 O 5 thin fi lms have been prepared by means of cathodic deposition from an aqueous solution made from V 2 O 5 and H 2 O 2 directly on fl uorine-doped tin oxide coated (FTO) glasses followed by annealing at 500 ° C in air, and studied as fi lm electrodes for lithium ion batteries. XPS results show that the as-deposited fi lms contained 15% V 4 + , however after annealing all t...
متن کامل3D Si/C Fiber Paper Electrodes Fabricated using a Combined Electrospray/Electrospinning Technique for LiIon Batteries
DOI: 10.1002/aenm.201400753 techniques. This is due to the heavy weight of the metal current collectors and the use of binders. [ 1,2 ] To improve the overall specifi c capacity of an electrode, high capacity active materials and light-weight current collectors should be used. With ten times higher theoretical capacity, abundance, non-toxicity, and low cost, Si has attracted extensive attention...
